Yes you can play pickleball at home! All you need is a bit of space and a few key supplies and you can build your own pickleball court at home.

When building a pickleball court or playing pickleball at home, it pays to know how big a standard court is. The standard dimensions of a pickleball court are 20 feet in width and 44 feet in length. The length is divided into two equal 22-foot halves, one on either side of the net, for opposing players to stand on. Each of the 22-foot segments is then divided into a 7-foot "non-volley" zone and a 15-foot "service" space.

If you don't have a dedicated court space, you can use sidewalk chalk to mark off an area of your driveway or patio to simulate the size of a standard court. You may also create your own court in an unfinished basement or in a large garage if you prefer playing indoors.

With some ingenuity and a pickleball set, you can play pickleball at home.
